The Vietnamese government has unveiled a comprehensive master plan for the tourism industry for 2021-2030, with a vision extending to 2045. This plan aims to prioritize investment and enhance the quality of national tourist areas while developing infrastructure and attracting investments to unlock the potential of 61 designated locations. As of May 2024, nine regions have achieved national tourist area status, highlighting Vietnam’s commitment to becoming a premier travel destination.
