At Footprint Travel, supporting local communities in times of need is a core part of our mission. Following recent storms, we extend our sincere gratitude to every team member who stepped forward to assist affected communities. In line with our commitment to disaster recovery, we’ve joined forces with the HOPE Foundation’s “Together Through the Floods” program to provide essential support to those impacted.
Focusing on Educational Infrastructure and Supplies
The program primarily focuses on restoring educational infrastructure and providing essential supplies for schools that suffered significant damage due to recent storms. This includes repairing facilities, as well as supplying learning materials and books for affected students. In September and October 2024 alone, the HOPE Foundation provided nearly 1 billion VND to support nine schools in Chi Lang District, Lang Son, and 1.5 billion VND to aid seven schools in Yen Bai. Moving forward, the foundation will continue to collaborate with local communities to assess damage, plan, and rebuild schools that need relocation or face serious safety risks due to structural damage.
Rebuilding Vital Facilities for Students
Choosing HOPE Foundation, we’re focusing our efforts on restoring critical infrastructure for a local school heavily affected by the storms. This support includes rebuilding the school’s kitchen and dining facilities, providing boarding students with a safe and functional space for meals and daily activities. By enhancing these facilities, we aim to improve students’ daily experiences, helping them focus on learning without worrying about basic needs.
Committed to Lasting Impact
Our partnership with the HOPE Foundation reflects our dedication to long-term community resilience. With a focus on practical and immediate needs, we’re helping ensure that students in affected communities can continue their education in a secure environment. Together with HOPE Foundation, Footprint Travel is proud to stand by communities as they rebuild, providing essential resources for a stronger, more resilient future.
