Footprint Travel is Travelife Re-certified

Footprint Travel was recently awarded the coveted Travelife Certification for the second time. The new certification will last until 2020. It confirms again our continuous commitment to maintaining industry-wide standards for sustainable management and ethical and environmental principles in our operations.

Ms Hong Anh, our Responsible Coordinator noted, "Footprint Travel is proudly the first local DMC to be Travelife- certificated in Vietnam. This latest achievement is considered one of the most important milestones since our first steps to the adventure of sustainability that started 5 years ago. Having all employees committed to this in their daily routines was a great challenge that Footprint Travel have faced during the process but we did it. All people now can again look upon the certification with pride. Further, we are enthusiastic about spearheading the ideas and taking a pioneering role in the movement towards truly responsible travel."

Travelife is a leading training, management and certification initiative for tourism companies committed to reaching sustainability. To be certificated, tour operators must comply with 200 criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism, related to an operators’ office management, product range, international business partners and customer information. Established with the support of the European Commission, it is the leading international sustainability certification for the travel sector.
