Sophie’s art tour visits private collections, museums and contemporary art spaces in HCM City and Hanoi and tell fascinating stories about Vietnamese art and Vietnam’s culture and history through the eyes of its artists.

Moving to Vietnam since 2009, Sophie had touched on parts of Vietnam’s fascinating visual culture but her knowledge. By learning from internet, books, old exhibition catalogues, and talking to artists, gallerists, curators, writers and researchers, she has developed knowledge to continue to pass on his enthusiasm and understanding to travelers.

A 4 hour presentation explores the dynamics of art in the dramatic history of Vietnam. The tour is now available in both Hanoi and HCM city.

Chat with art collector offer an insight into Vietnamese modern fine art history through the view of an art curator, collector, and gallery owner of Nguyen Art gallery – Mr. Le Xuan Huong. With qualification from Vietnam Fine Art University and years of experience in the creative scene, he has accumulated a great knowledge about Vietnamese modern art history, galleries and artists. His yearly contribution to support many new and young artists is also highly appreciated.

His gallery has now become one of the best Art galleries in town with a great collection of original and quality paintings as well as sculptures. All of the paintings were used traditional Vietnamese materials such as: lacquer painting, charcoal painting, water color painting on “Do” paper as well as oil canvas, acrylic on canvas.

The trip lasts for 3 hours from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM in Hanoi. He picks you up at your hotel or any places of your choice and spend time to chat about the histories of painting, artists or many other stories that you could never find in any guide book.
