Trip Itinerary

Day1 Hanoi - Mai Chau - Moc Chau

Depart from your Hanoi hotel after breakfast at 8.00 and head to Hoa Binh province. We will stop for lunch and short break in Mai Chau. Then continue to Moc Chau. Start our trek way off we the beaten path and into our village destination. Check in at our homestay on arrival. Relax and preparations for our community project tomorrow.

Day2 Muong people village – community project

The village name will be only given upon your booking with us but it is near Moc Chau town. We will spend two days here for the project. The activities will be discussed with you upon booking with us. It is important to note that projects are always different as we work closely with different villages to see what might help them best.

Day3 Muong people village - community project

Breakfast and spend this second day working hard at our community project. By now you can see tangible outcomes and are motivated to continue. Again, activites will be discussed in greater detail upon booking with us.

Day4 Moc Chau - Drive to Ninh Binh

Finish up your project before lunch with a few of the locals. Take some rest before driving to Ninh Binh. Check in and overnight there.

Day5 Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu - Trang An

Depart from your hotel at 9:00 to Trang An. A local rowboat trip on arrival. This is a very beautiful boat ride (~2.5 hours) along a meandering stream surrounded by towering limestone peaks - even pass through some limestone caves! We make a short transfer along the peaceful country road to Hoa Lu. Your guide introduce you to Vietnam's historical ancient capital of the 9th century. Stories of two kings who are now being worshiped there before transferring back your hotel. Overnight in Ninh Binh.

Day6 Ninh Binh - Hanoi

Have breakfast at your hotel and free at your leisure in the morning. As an option you could do a local bike trip to visit Tam Coc, Bich Dong or Thai Vi Temple. Have lunch then back to Hanoi at around 17:00 when the tour finishes.
