Can Gio Mangrove Forest Experience 1 Day

Depart from your hotel in HCM City at 8:00 AM and transfer to Can Gio. We arrive in the mangrove forest in about 2 hours and have a short introduction about its history and learn about the various types of flora and fauna of this beautiful environment. Then we take canoe to the centre of Vam Sat Eco Park, where you can visit bat swamp, crocodile reserve (and feed them if you wish!) and see monkey in their natural habitat, as well as enjoy crab fishing and bird-watching. You can also enjoy another mangrove jungle walk. Have late lunch at around 1:00 PM.

After lunch, we take a short transfer back by canoe and hop on your van for a drive to Rung Sac Guerrilla Base - an important military headquarters from 1966 to 1975. Upon arrival, board a canoe to the Guerrilla Base hidden deeply in the forest, which served not only as living quarters, but as supply routes and hospitals for thousands of guerilla fighters. Then we finish the tour and head back to HCM City at around 5:30 PM.
