Trek Cat Tien National Park 2 Days

Features: Enjoy a two-day trek escape from the bustling city of HCM City to the jungles of Cat Tien National Park, a part of the wet tropical forest complex and one of the specious natural forests remaining in Vietnam.

 

Trip Itinerary

Day1 HCM City - Cat Tien National Park

We start at around 6:30 AM from your hotel and head to Cat Tien National Park. After crossing the Dong Nai River, we check in at the park, meet our local guide, and take a break for lunch. After lunch, we begin a 5-km hike along the nature trail where we will see many gigantic trees before returning to the administration building.

 

At around 6 PM, a jeep transports us to the TaLai buffer zone for a night site where we may spot tree shrews, civets, mouse deer, wild boars, and pygmy loris. Back to the guest house for dinner. Overnight in Cat Tien park (very basic guesthouse).

Day2 Cat Tien - HCM City

We embarked on an adventure early this morning at 7:30 AM after having breakfast. Our expert guide takes you through easy-to-hard forest trails that connect many interesting spots under the tropical canopy. During this 4-hour trek, you peer at unique species of flora and learn about a world of giant trees hundreds of years old, surely stunning you so much.

 

There is a high chance of seeing animals in the wild, especially gibbons, long admired by the world’s nature enthusiasts. We go back to the homestay at around 11:30 AM. It’s time to say goodbye to your host. Have lunch at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge at your own expense before hitting our road back to HCM City at around 5:00 PM (depending on the traffic conditions).
